My husband and I tried Cheeseburger Eddie's today. But I wish I had been warned in the reviews; the cheese on the cheeseburgers is American cheese unless you order a signature burger which has cheddar. I have been spoiled I guess, all cheeseburgers I get elsewhere have cheddar not the boring and less tasteful American. Anyway, was a good juicy burger, I don't understand the review that said burger and fries were $12.95--I cannot find that on the menu. I had bacon cheeseburger for $6.95 and split order of fries with my husband. The order of fries (price $2.85) was a full plateful and we could only finish about half. We order our burgers cooked well because we like them that way and the burger was not dried out at all. The employees all seemed high energy and helpful. After we arrived the place got packed and it seemed that the employees kept up very well. They also have a variety of other items for people that do not want hamburgers.

I am from New Orleans and I have traveled the world over and over in search of food and dining experiences that can those that I get hear in my hometown. I am a fan of the Mr. Ed's/Austin's Restaurants so i went to his latest venture CheeseBurger Eddie's, It is the Best by far of all Burger Joints in the city and North America. My burger was cooked a perfect medium and and my fries were as golden as the decor of the place. I loved it and I will definitley go back. Cheeseburger Eddie, thank you for all of your hard work at making the best Burger and Fries I have ever had.
Loved the pork tacos. The four cheese burger was really good too! Nice place.
I stopped to visit some friends in Metarie this weekend and we made our first trip. The cheese fries were delicious, my bacon cheeseburger was HUGE and perfectly seasoned and cooked...very generous with the bacon...which I really appreciate. Our entire table was raving about their food. The beer selection is nice and the atmosphere is fun and inviting. Service was fast and friendly. I will be a regular on my way into New Orleans.
So excited to see a new restaurant in such a convenient location. The place looks great. Went here after school with my kids to grab dinner, and we loved the burgers. They already want to go back for the shakes. The Butterfinger shake was amazing! Went with some girlfriends one night and had drinks and salads as well. Definitely recommend it.

Got a great cheeseburger and fries yesterday and love the place. Clean, well run, nice crowd and great selection of food items. Flat screen tv's for sports, good beer selection and great looking restaurant. I will definitely be back with friends.
Broke my rule and tried a place whithin the first two weeks of opening, but it was worth it. Did lunch during the week, had a good line around 12:30 it moved fairly quickly and the food came out fast and was great. We have already been back.
